Gift Aid it

Gift Aid makes a significant difference to IPPL because it increases your donation by just under one-third and doesn't cost you anything.

If you pay tax in the UK, then Gift Aid will enable IPPL to reclaim the basic rate tax on your gift to us.  This means that if you give £10.00 to IPPL using Gift Aid, H.M. Revenue & Customs will add £2.82 to the value of your donation, so at no extra cost to you the gift will be worth £12.82.

If you are a Higher Rate tax payer, you can also claim back the difference between Basic and Higher Rate tax on your gross donation.  That means that for every £10 you donate, you can get about £2.56 back from the taxman – which you can keep, or give to charity.

Subject to a few simple rules, you can give any amount of money, large or small, regular or one-off, and we can reclaim the tax.  You can make payments by cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card.

To start making the most of Gift Aid, simply select the giftaid it option when donating online.  For postal donations, a declaration can be sent upon request.
