We work for their
conservation

IPPL helps sanctuaries rescue young primates whose mothers have been killed for bushmeat. Sanctuaries offer these orphans a chance to return to the wild, whilst providing education and employment for local people. By monitoring the international trade in primates, IPPL also protects wild populations.

We work for their
welfare

We campaign to stop the abuse of primates wherever it occurs. In the UK, our rehoming scheme has prevented unwanted laboratory or pet monkeys from being needlessly destroyed. We have saved over 1000 individual lives.

We work for
them

We work closely with vets, zoos and other organisations to ensure the highest standards of care. We inform governments and the media about primates and use education to spread our message. IPPL saves lives.
